The ukulele is very popular as an easy to learn instrument. With only 4 strings, chords are easier to play than on its larger cousin, the six stringed guitar. It is also smaller, cheaper and has a friendly sound that is popular with players of all ages.

Mastering just a few chords (3 – 4) is easy and enables you to play quite a lot of songs.
